Freddy, problem is the 1st amendment, congress shall make no laws restricting or endorsing religion and stuff like that. For what you would like to do would require a constitutional amendment that WOULD allow the government to restrict and/or endorse religion.

Well, I'm sorry, it's not a devil cult. They basically worship the angel of death in hopes of protecting themselves from all the death that surrounds them every day. It's has roots in Catholicism and, as Jonathan said, older beliefs from the region.

I did read the book, Jesus says love thy neighbor as thy self and love God. People may argue with the second part, not believing in God and all, that's fine, and their right, but the first sounds like really good advice. Also it says, judge not lest you be judged. Just saying.

I agree, while it may not be necessary for life and you could get by without it, its rapidly becoming similar to a phone. Yea you can get by without it, but things will be more difficult.
